Growing Through Story: A Free Health Equity Book Circle Series

An open book with colorful flowers and butterflies emerging from it, creating a vibrant and imaginative scene.

Some of the most meaningful growth in my work has come not only from frameworks or policies, but from discussing stories and reflecting on the stories behind the stories we know. There is no better way to do this (my opinion) then by growing a love of reading books.

Books slow us down. They help us notice nuance, context, and humanity especially in fields like healthcare and nonprofit leadership, where decisions are often made under pressure. Stories create space to reflect not just on what we do, but why we do it. They also allow us the distance and often are the vehicle to share our own experiences and reflections.

This series is an invitation to reflect together. This is not a lecture series. It is a reflective learning space.
